Megadoor is a diverting chute built to handle up to 2000 tons per hour while diverting from conveyor to stacker. The gate or “door” comes in at a hefty 3500 lb hence the name Megadoor. Full open to full closed takes only 15 seconds. Megadoor is lined with the latest in wear material technologies developed by SSAB, including Hardox 450 and Duroxite 100.
